I have many fond memories of my SYZX3. The only other color Focus I ever envied were the Comp Orange SVTs.

Woosh?

As a Bay Area transplant who never paid attention to Ray Ratto before he started writing Deadspin articles, I can say that I have a deep fondness and admiration for this man and I look forward to everything he writes. I really want to see the Philly ownership group on whatever festival stage or TED Talk they decide to

Seriously. I’ve never seen Gary Sanchez do an interview without an interpreter, but I follow him on Instagram and all of his posts are all written in both Spanish and English.

I have always asked the dealer if they offer the maintenance packages as a standalone deal where I can pay a flat rate per year and get a discount for bringing my car back to them for service, rather than lumping it into the purchase price. For some strange reason whenever I do that, the existence of the package that

Agreed, especially since they never answered the question of where they confiscated those riiims from.

How does someone sleep that heavily on what was probably a <2 hour flight? Declining the limo ride and hotel room also screams that she didn’t want it to appear that she was accepting that as a solution and dropping it.

Excellent article, but I think the “fans” in SF are going to be the exact same people who have gone to Oracle for at least the last few years. I can’t wait until next year when it will be affordable to go to a meaningless early season Giants day game and then walk less than a mile to a meaningless late season Warriors

True, but Oracle will be empty without all the tech bros.

Re: San Jose being “slightly accessible by public transit from San Francisco”
Caltrain runs from SF near Oracle Park to San Jose and drops you off across the street from SAP Center. Sorry that it doesn’t pick you up from your house*.

*I am forced to assume that if you lived in San Francisco proper that your dwelling

I was originally wondering how many people from the Bay Area were going to fly up to Portland to watch the away games, but then I remember they’ve spent the last 5 years moving up there already, so all they have to do is take MAX from the Pearl District!

Is it worth investigating the fact that your winner and one of the two honorable mentions were the only ones in glass bottles as opposed to cans? I understand the benefits of cans over bottles as packaging, but when all of the beers are offered in both formats doesn’t it make sense to standardize? Why not get real

It costs money because you need a location with staff, safety, security, first aid, maintenance, etc. Street racing is not free when it leads to accidents, injuries, and/or deaths. If you can’t afford to pay for the preventative measures to make sure your race is safe, then you sure as hell can’t afford to pay for the

An absolutely phenomenal nuanced take.

Meh, they have a few gems (Hair of the Dog, Upright), but you shouldn’t conflate quantity with quality. Is it better than most cities? Yes. Is it better than San Diego or Denver? No.

While you make a good point from a statistics point of view, the big thing the Sharks managed last night was forcing Vegas to the perimeter and sending in shots that Jones saw coming. Any NHL goalie should have no problem stopping those all day.

This is like if a cop ignored the fact that every single driver on the road is on their phones and then pulls someone over for going 70 in a 65. Wait a second...

Or in the case of David Tracy, a couple of Jeep wheel hub assemblies would pull a premium one week before Moab.

40 weight sounds nice...

I had to scroll way too far down to find Chevy SS.
