Another thought: we’re all worried/worked up about the dragon battle pitting Dany’s two living dragons against the dead one. But since the show has flat-out stated that zombie people created by the Others can be killed by fire, wouldn’t the ice dragon get easily defeated by the two living (firebreathing) dragons?

There’s a joke about this in the Ed Norton-version of Hulk. Betty goes to buy him some loose-fitting pants that won’t tear when he transforms, and she comes back with purple stretch pants. “Purple’s not really my color.”

This deserves 1,000 stars!

100% he’s going to THANK Jaime for “helping him open his third eye”.

In theory, it sounds awesome, right? Your wife’s breasts are bigger than normal. She’s begging you to suck on them.

“Lori is finally realizing just how serious this is. She is seeing the light that she will do jail time and is freaking out.”

The Montgomery Ward Christmas catalog had like 8 pages of bra and underwear. It was also 2 1/2 inches thick and weighed 8 lbs, making it very difficult to discretely sneak upstairs.

I was going to ask a similar question. What do 80-year-olds masturbate to? They’ve got granddaughters who are 19, so surely they’re not jerking it to that, right? They aren’t ... (gulp) ... whacking off to ... (oh god) ... 70-year-olds are they?

It is indisputable the ball touched Texas Tech last. That’s not the issue here. The issue is that the Virginia player knocked the ball out of bounds — that the pinky finger of the TT player was in last contact with the ball is happenstance. The spirit of the play is that ball was out on Virginia.

The crazy thing to me is: Why put so much value in these picks? I went back to 2010 looking at each draft’s 3rd round comp picks. The only names I saw who jumped out to me were James Conner and Steven Nelson. Conner is now the Steelers lead RB, and Nelson started at CB for the Chiefs last year. I’m sure there are a

“...and because of you I can’t do anything! So I’m just going to sit here ... in Malibu ... by the pool ... overlooking the ocean ... being waited on by servants ... taking selfies ... well, after my nap, at least ...”

I’m sure she’ll be fine since she’s a rich white person

The owners wanted this information to get out. The biggest problem MLB has had in past negotiations is being more fractured than the players union. This is going to be the first of a number of stories coming out over the next year to demonstrate the singularity of the owners. Even look at the franchises who are

Bell said that he was going to report after Week 1, but he felt disrespected by his teammates. As much as we want to believe his holdout was calculated strategy, or even the emotional turmoil of witnessing the Shazier injury, the simple truth is he got his feelings hurt by some negative tweets and interviews.

You could handle it similar to how the NBA does. PI is a 10-yard penalty, but if the penalty was flagrant, the refs have the ability to call it an unsportsmanlike conduct that is a spot-of-the-foul or 15 yards, whichever is greater.

I noticed that Tom Brady is not mentioned in Gronk’s retirement post. That must be deflating for Tom.

Good point. Surely Martin doesn’t own the licensing rights to GoT/ASOIAF outright. The publisher probably is making money from HBO too.

I don’t think what you described HAS to be dumb.

A couple years ago, he flat-out said in the April-May timeframe that we’d get Winds of Winter before the end of the year. I cannot believe that he’d make a commitment to such a short lead time if he wasn’t at least close. And he’s gone nearly silent in the last 12 months about his progress. Maybe he’s given up ... on

Neither of those points affect my theory. Just because they haven’t published WoW doesn’t mean Martin can’t start writing Song of Spring, if he’s done with the other book. As far as the publisher’s role in this, Martin has been working on the book for nearly a decade now. Bantam hasn’t demonstrated any influence to
