You would get to live in a more highly educated society that had good health care and every single knock-on effect of those two developments, which would be considerable.
I’m not sure what reality the Brookings Institute used when creating this calculator, but it clearly lowballs my tax rate by 8 percent so Bernie’s plan appears as a 9% increase instead of a 1% increase.
Terrible idea as it relates to accessibility. I really enjoy all the new “productivity” measures designed to make you uncomfortable—they really bring back the charm of the second industrial revolution.
