I would just like another awesome game like Planescape: Torment, but in one of the different unique campaign settings from the 90s. I miss those old TSR SSI games!

Skies of Arcadia had an awesome final battle. Really, every fight with the ship against one of those giant golem things was too much fun.

haha. I made some type of excited noises and my wife looked at me funny. I then had to dissemble (rather poorly) and explain that it was her tagline and what not.

+1!

my wife and I agreed that, for once in a movie, Hulk/Banner became a sympathetic character because of Ruffalo. We discussed how Norton and Bana never really made you feel for Banner, but Ruffalo was able to make you care about Hulk. And then, of course, Hulk's action scenes were far and away one of the most awesome

per usual, I love your wrap-ups, Charlie, but no mention of the greatest moment in the episode? I almost clapped my hands when Ygritte finally said, "You know nothing, Jon Snow."

especially with that disdainful look he gave Robb after Robb wanted to have a chat w/ Talisa. Definitely spooky knowing what's to come!

I could see it as a digital download. You would pay for the rights to the CAD file on a limited use basis depending on your purchase/amount of figures to print, then you would print from home - though you could always still purchase the physical pre-made product. That could be a very interesting way to make 40K, etc.

I actually expected her to be cast as Carol Danvers, but was a little confused as to why not, considering Marvel seems to like to set up the possibility of future appearances of named characters.

I feel like since they are using Ultimate Skrulls, so to speak, for the Avengers movie that they could use the Kree (if they have the rights) to show a war against them and the Chitauri/Thanos. That way, maybe they could introduce Captain and Ms. Marvel in some way. Seems in the realm of possibility with some creative

If they use Thanos as a villain, I feel they could introduce the Kree maybe and thus make Ms. Marvel somehow...?

I finally got a chance to see this movie yesterday, and my wife and I thought it was fantastic. If I didn't have a 7-week-old, I would see this once a week for as long as it stays in theaters. I will be with you in spirit from SC!

but a really excited 12 year old that gets to be in a space movie!

actually, I have some seventh graders that are about this bad (good?). I think they peak at fourth grade and then decline from there through college.

it's either one on one foot or one on one prime. I liked thinking it was a one foot dude vs. someone

I think the arrows were helpful in the beginning so that we understood how the block system worked, but now I think all the regulars probably understand what's going on. Like kshortes says, maybe assign a color to the bar for each new block? Or would that be logistically difficult and/or a chromatic mess that would

I agree on the odd use of starring. I am also a starred commenter on io9 (represent!), but have been commenting on and off on this site for years now and have never been gifted a star. I'm not complaining either, but I do see commenters on here that have stars, but yet post (in my opinion) asinine comments that are

you two stole my joke right out from under me.

I actually had to ask my students to stop talking about the movie because I hadn't had a chance to see it yet.

For some reason, it sounded like Michael Gambon to me.
