@Tosh.Ownage: I was always amazed at how the difficulty skyrockets in that last level. Like...a ridiculous amount. Suddenly the game hates you, where only hours earlier it was your friend.

That's the thing wonder about. In this day and age where sequels are king, why not create sequels to some great games like Tie Fighter or X-Wing? Are those types of games not en vogue anymore?

I really think this will only be enjoyable for little kids that will not pick up on the fact that the tracking mechanism doesn't seem to be exact (maybe that will be fixed). For older players, I feel like the game will just be a source of frustration (at the controls and the lame-looking levels and play). I think

@Erode: Aren't hackers just always being juvenile dicks? I don't see any other answer really.

@MichaelPalin: They want them to watch you while you sleep.

I found that joke and I laughed.

@HitBit: I'd probably play it more on the iPhone than on anything else.

@Mike Pants: I've been taking my time w/ it so I don't get burned by some of the more repetitive aspects of the game. I'll do a case or two, plus some street crimes, with my wife, then not play for a while. That way, when I play next, it still seems new. But that face-recognizing technology still seems amazing to me

I was also surprised by the Tomb Raider reboot. I haven't really been interested in any of those games for years now, but the developers have seemed to play the Uncharted games and incorporated some of those games characterization and gameplay quirks to create an interesting looking game. I might play it!

@yanipheonu: that last time when he makes the jump to the much lower rail was pretty cool. the character's arms wave around wildly and he clangs onto it. pretty cool moment!

I did, but when you study a language for a long time from one determined period, you often find yourself rooted in that period's pronunciation. Plus, I prefer the way classical Latin sounds. It's similar to the style of Spanish I learned vs. different regions of Spanish around the globe.

I see what you mean, but I feel that the initial design of the characters is very important in order for the player to enjoy playing as that character. I dig making my own, and maybe that's a flash back to my days of playing tabletop games. I like to have some degree of ownership over the character, and potentially I

I enjoy character generators because the protagonist becomes my protagonist. This is evidenced by my Commander Shepard compared to my wife's Shepard, etc. et al. I really dig being able to create my own persona. Also, I mention character generators, because I really don't like the designs for these characters. They

Tenchu, is that you?

@Yigytugd: I've been thinking of this exact thing. Sony has got to readying something to combat Nintendo. They came a little late with the Move, but I'm sure they have seen the WiiU and are hatching something. I actually might be more apt to just do what Sony will eventually release, though I fear it'll be much more

@Prometheus-X-: I read once that they chose the "XBox360" name because they wanted to be one number ahead of Ps2, but also PS3. This way, it was numerically above the PS2 to show that it was the newest console out there. Plus there was the whole "360 degrees" marketing spin that was totally forgettable.

@MaWeiTao: I absolutely hate the name, but I get why they did it. They wanted consumers to know that this system was in the same realm as the Wii (e.g., motion controls, family playing together, etc.), but also did not usurp the Wii (Wii2 might have communicated that the Wii was obselete, and Nintendo wants to keep

a "hippy bar"? really?

why do i have to play as those three unappealing characters? why couldnt we do a mass effect/fallout-style character generation?
