...and now I soiled myself.
I'm interested to see who they get for our lady of Tarth, considering Martin goes out of his way to describe her horseface.
It's also a small enough crowd that would appreciate a phrase like "we lost the gleaming".
@orangedrink: G is for Guybrush from Monkey Island fame.
#correction "couldn't care less"
@Sobersean: aka Doctor Aquafresh: Also, be silent at a waterfall for a few minutes. That is the password.
@TheRealDoshu: I always collect and save healing items, believing I will need them for the endgame scenario. Then, I will never really need all of them, and end up with a medical stockpile which would have been useful hours ago.
@Outi: I did that too. I would adopt a house, etc. as my secret lair.
@thebolt: I do this with modern games that require a dialogue response from you. I like to sit and think about my response, and games like Mass Effect et al have long portions of spoken dialogue where you are expected to remember everything the person said. Back in the late 80s/early 90s, I was playing Final Fantasy Legend on the Gameboy. I was barely into the first bunch of quests when I had to leave to go to camp or something. I'm not sure what the event was, but I know I had to be away from my Gameboy for a few days.
DENNIS!
@Zach Man: Absolutely, I feel like the cast and writers should be recognized with trophies or something. It made the game so much more entertaining and a real joy to listen to. I had to remind myself to slow down at parts just so I could hear the script.
now where is Earthbound?
that picture perfectly captures Kyle McLaughlin's hair in that series
this is a good idea. I feel like I'm going to be forgetting lots of important details when book 5 is finally out b/c I read book 4 a while ago. sadly, I'm busy w/ these Patrick Rothfuss books right now, otherwise I would reread.
haha. I thought of the same thing. Maybe Tyrion is actually like 80 years old and has some latent psychic talent. It would go along well with the whole birthing of shadow creatures and what not.
Tyrion looks crazy in these. I'm thinking they really took to heart the whole "imp" nickname.
@the-hypnotoad: I don't know about that. I would say don't buy book 4 until the next one comes out, considering there are so many cliffhangers.
I know it says this was made from game footage, but I didn't really see any gameplay footage at all. Which of those scenes actually showed you on some mission where you had to shoot people?
