gamespite.net should be up there. The main articles are written by Jeremy Parish from old EGM/now 1up.com. I find that he often is able to eloquently discuss games like a real writer/journalist, without sounding juvenile/puerile like many games-writers.

those heels are incredibly tall. how do you walk in those, let alone do roundhouse kicks?

@DasStan: too late, I just laughed so much I birthed an evil shadow-baby.

@ebietoo: whoa, keep reading. His story arcs are always really fun.

@DasStan: This response made me laugh out loud. Thank you.

Great video, Brian. I liked the "let's find the targets together"-Mr. Rogers vibe. We are a community!

@Zenuflecked: Exactly my concern too. I feel creating the Dreaming, Delerium's home, et al would cost lots of money.

@kagekiri: I think lame dudes in LA probably only see drugs as vehicles for fun, considering the lifestyles many of them may lead.

@Taggart6: Sure, I don't think there's necessarily a problem with adding the other side there, as long as you realize that men have enjoyed dominance in society for years, and women have traditionally been swept aside and objectified (through video games, no less).

@idDobie: I don't know if it's entirely a younger audience that this caters to. I think companies that construct characters like this are catering to the currently "hot" image constructed by society.

@StephenTotilo: That parenthetical explanation was so much easier to read than the entire article. Just sayin'.

The problem is that super skinny + bigger boobs = "better". This leads to misogyny where a "better" female is "better" because of a socially-constructed "good/hot" appearance.

@Bellamy: Yeah, I saw the picture that said "remove your glasses." Ah, no. Then I cannot see. Dicks.

@Adarael: I agree. The fact that he worked on the product, but did not disclose that information in the review is a faux pas. Now it seems as if he was intentionally being deceptive in order to increase the metacritic score of his game (which we have all learned is something that developers and publishers crave).

Alasdair, I meant this as a joke, considering the guy did one movie, and George Lazenby-as-Bond is often a punchline in general when people (and I) talk about James Bond. I was not being pedantic in reference to one of your posts that I read daily. Perhaps a sarcasm hashtag was necessary?

I think you are right. I don't think Gary Oldman knows about Batman comics past general public knowledge (if he does, then good for him.).

The "George Lazenby 'era'" was pretty short for a "recurring" villain

I don't know if it's ever a good thing to admire fanaticism.

it's a studio creation. I read this news somewhere else on-line and it was stated that the studio wanted to re-imagine the Inhumans as to avoid the Terrigen Mists/Kree/Lockjaw/etc.
