You’ve gone full Tracy, never go full Tracy.

counterpoint....the south end of a northbound mule has intelligent design decisions that focus on functionality.

I have to disagree. It would only punish poor people, because they must buy fuel to continue working in most cases. Middle class and well-off people would just pay more and complain about it to their congressperson. Higher fuel costs are devastating to poor working people. They can’t rush out and buy an EV, and even

I see you’ve been studying with Professor Torch at his writing seminars.  Good stuff sir.  Making a rather mundane task such as paying too much for fuel into an epic tale of loss and woe.  Thank you, kind sir!

Raising one of the crucial inputs of the vast majority of cars would inevitably have a deleterious effect on car culture as currently constituted, especially while alternatives currently also cost more.

Oh, I’m firing up my keyboard all right. But not to lambast you or anyone else about being enthusiastic about a Prius, but rather to take to task anyone that dares try to do that.

This is the automotive journalism I come to Jalopnik for. What fun.

Less big time racing. More grassroots. There are plenty of places to get F1, etc coverage.

Ditto. With so many leagues, a little weekend coverage will never pull viewers away from dedicated sites and is just content to be skipped for most not already interested in the particulars of the league. A single article in the vein of the Morning Shift would suffice.

+1 for less racing focus on the weekends

More of a weekday content mix, lot less of a focus on racing. Not all motoring appreciation is about racing. I’m not saying none, but certainly not the total lock that it currently has. Also, a 100% reduction in pushbike centric articles. Pedalopniks already have other places on the web to deal with their hobby.
