That Alpha looks like a bad decision I could easily make. I love the way those cars look.

No, they said Detroit and Chicago are ruined cities. It is particularly hard to argue that is not the case in Detroit, by any standard. You are the only one that seems to be insinuating that it is because the majority of the population is black. There are many cities with majority black populations that are growing,

Yes, but even so, it is not known for its stability in cornering. However, that is just based on what I have read. I have no first hand knowledge.

Still, it could be worse:

I want to hate it, but it kind of looks incredible.

I think it would have to be $999. He seems to have a thing about paying over $1,000 for Holy Grails.

Spending time with your son and teaching him how to wrench = Very good.

They missed the only answer that would have been correct. For the record, I hate the Soul and the Juke, but they are definitely cut from the same cloth.

I like it. This is exactly what it should be, and very well may be my next vehicle. I like simple and useful, and I think it looks pretty good. Thankfully, I will not need to buy a car right away. Hopefully some of the market craziness will subside by then.

The only people who prefer a 2 door truck to a 4 door truck are those who have never owned a 2 door truck (source: I have owned two of them).

I think your instinct to doubt politicians motives is spot on. However, I am pretty convinced this is a case of them doing the right thing, even if it might be for the wrong reason.

I think differently about mistakes. Some the things you mentioned, I would not classify as a mistake. My theory is a mistake is only a mistake if you don’t learn from it. For the ones that you new better, but did it anyway, those are clearly mistakes. For the things you just did wrong the first time, I call that

OK, that made root beer come out my nose. Well done sir!

I wish you well, but you know the saying about nothing costing more than a cheap Porsche? It is true for VWs as well. Hopefully you will have better luck.

Wow, there is a long list. I have scars still (literally) due to the General Lee and my lack of understanding of physics as a 10 year old (tried to jump bike over a ditch like the General Lee).

The least powerful car I ever owned would have been a 1970 VW beetle, but it certainly was not the slowest. That honor is close between a 1986 Honda Civic hatchback and and 1998 Ford Ranger 4 cylinder. The Ranger had more torque but no top end. The Civic had a better top end but no torque.

The key is for a guy to find the right size Tonya Harding when working on your goin to town rig. Especially when installing factree options. Nope, probably not.

I like it. I am anxious to see one in person. Hyundai and Kia are knocking it out of the park right now.

I don’t get all the hate. It is a cheap Porsche, that might not bankrupt you to fix up. These things are getting more expensive fast. Some people actually want a project, and enjoy the process of working on cars. For a person like that this is definitely worth restoring.
