I agree with you about the moderation of the site. I think they do a good job with allowing the discussion to continue and not censoring views they don’t agree with, but there are specific authors on the site that a significant portion of their articles are thinly veiled attacks on parts of culture they disagree

I think you have done yourself a disfavor, by eliminating Honda. The Honda Element is weird as they come and would be the perfect fit for your scenario.

If it turns into a place where one set of views are aggressively suppressed in favor of another, it’ll be politicized, and time to move on.”

Discussion is fine, but attacking and vilifying everyone who does not agree with you or chooses do to look at the world differently than you, is not. I welcome and open and honest debate, but more and more, it is just the author attacking those he or she disagrees with and not even considering the possibility of an

All the stars to you, I could not agree more.

I do too, but the band just started playing “Nearer my God to Thee”. If he does not improve the content, then it will die from lack of interest. I get tired of reading political rants, posing as automotive journalism. I click on fewer articles every day. There are some really good writers here, but they are beginning

My dad had an 86, it had a 5 speed and AC, but other than that it was identical, color and everything. These thing are indestructible (unless you drive into a brick mailbox, which my dad did with 250,000 miles on it), easy to work on, and great trucks. One downside is they are loud. If you are use to modern vehicle,

David, are you showing movies to your Jeeps and referring to them as friends now? I am concerned.

Tom has the right answer. I don’t think the rest of you understand what the word “reliable” means.

Did I just read that David Tracy is daily driving a mechanically sound vehicle?

Her co-workers should have been fired. Harassment is never OK, no matter what the reason. If this report is accurate, then this is the definition of a sexually hostile workplace and the line of lawyers would stretch to Florida, begging her to take this case. I suspect there may be more to this than is initially being

It is crack pipe, but it is also a brown manual wagon, so I was contractually obligated to vote NP or turn in my Jalop card.

A Karmann Ghia died to make this monstrosity. It should be crushed to prevent others from viewing the carnage and the builder be forced to forfeit his tools and drive a Soviet era Lada for the rest of his life.

Don’t. Ever. Change.

I have never understood the love for these things. I have driven one of these and actually owned a 200sx (3rd gen Silvia - S12). They were not bad cars, and they definitely are tail happy (I wrapped mine around a tree), but I never thought they were anything special.

Rare does not equal valuable. It is basically and GMC Envoy with an LS in it. Not a bad vehicle, just not worth $10K US.

Failing to comply with a lawful order from the police is a crime. Here is the TN law, I am sure it is similar to others.

No, I stop when I see the blue lights, talk to the officer, and more times than not they give you a warning and you are on your way, unless your an asshole or have had multiple warnings, which will promptly land you with a ticket. Worst case, you get a ticket and life continues. Not so much if you run from the cops.

That was my concern, I did not think you could get a title for these, so that gave me pause as well.

If you set $9000 on fire, the fire cost more than $8000, but it still would be worthless. This is thing is worth whatever you could part it out for.
