See my original comment. If I am not willing to drop 30K+ on a new car every 5 years, I sure as hell am not going drop 30K+ on one that is five years old. Again, I am aware I am not the target market for Porsche or Tesla, but the used market is almost none existent for a used electric vehicle.

I see that EVs are the way of the future, and if I was going to purchase a new car, I would give serious consideration to purchasing an EV. However, there is a problem. I have never once in my life purchased a new car. Most of my cars have been 5 years old or older. With the issue of battery degradation as cars get

Is this a nice price for this car, yes. NP. Would I buy it at that price? Oh, hell no, but I am not John Q Citizen that wants to look cool and drive an Audi when I can only afford a Toyota.

Make Taco Trucks Great again?

I would not buy this car, at any price. I always thought they were ugly as sin. However, that is not the question. I voted CP, because at that price this thing should be in concourse condition, and it is not. 10 year old paint, faded interior, ac not working, and a hack job amp installed in the trunk.

I didn’t think it was cool at the time, because it did not have AC and my sister and I were crammed in the back seat, but we had a Datsun 510 coupe when I was growing up. Probably 1971 or 72. My dad traded it in for a 1974 (I think) Datsun B210 hatchback, which was the first or second car I ever drove.

Pretty sure it’s a Lambo, dude

I will never not star a Red Green reference.

He started numerous companies, one competes with the major automakers of the world and another one puts sends rockets to space and puts satellites in orbit, which is something very few countries can do, much less private companies. While he didn’t start PayPal, he made PayPal into what it is now. You may not like him,

Did Elon Musk make fun of you all in highschool or something? He seems to be a douche bag, a brilliant douche bag, but douche bag all the same, but i don’t understand all the constant hate on this site for all things Tesla. This was a prototype, and you all are approaching it like this thing is a production vehicle.

It’s pretty hard to find any low mileage car in good condition for under $5K now, much less a somewhat interesting vehicle. NP

These liability issues are exactly why we will never have autonomous cars. If an individual has an accident and kills someone, they might get sued. The insurance company pays out a few hundred grand and that’s the end of the liability. With autonomous cars, even if they are exponentially safer than human drivers, that

I don’t understand people pretending that the mustang has historically been a great car. It hasn’t. They have made a few great cars with the mustang name, but most of the ones produced are dogs. They have definitely improved, but there is not some great mustang heritage that must be preserved at all cost. Ford has

I like it. Comparing it to the Ridgeline is tough, because it does not have 4 real doors. If it truly is affordable, I think it will sell. It needs to be decently equipped in the low 20K’s to have a chance. I really wish they would at least have a very basic version, sub $20K. That is the issue I have with small

There is a company in the south east called Budget Brakes, and I have always thought that was the dumbest name for a brake shop. These must be related to the people who advertise the cheap vasectomy prices on billboards. There are some things you just want cheap, there are others that you want quality and brakes and

Seriously, David, It sounds like you are slipping down the slope from enthusiast to hoarder. By your own admission, you have too many projects and the Willys and Postal are problematic to use at best. Thin down the herd, care for and fix the ones you keep, and set some boundaries for yourself when it comes to these

David, your fascination with rusty junk can’t be healthy, but it is dang entertaining. Keep up the good work!

David, I have a bit of information for you that you may not be aware of. When cars are completely rusted out, most of us think they are fairly worthless. That Rustang has more holes than sheet metal, and I can only imagine what the frame rails looked like. I know it is probably shocking to you that the rest of us do

I am sure all the UAW workers that lost their jobs when the plants closed are grateful and thankful for the job the UAW did for them to keep them from ending up like all those poor employed workers at Honda, with their good paying jobs and benefits.
