Also, I would go to another nutritionist. Avoid any health professional that uses one. It’s a joke and they aren’t qualified to say what works.

Or don’t waste your money on an impedance scanner that’s got 20% error. At least the weight scale is accurate.
I’ve got beef with the contract part. I’m a personal trainer and used to sell memberships....
This is how I do it at my gym
It takes a bit of thinking, but draping the straps over an object would accomplish the same thing. The video above, you could replace the monkii’s with a TRX draped over the basketball and perform the dips/etc facing 90 degrees from the angle shown in the video. The width of the basketball pole would be sufficient to…
It’s really hard to complain about the size of the TRX, honestly. I’m not sure where the differentiation comes in with the Monkey bar being for “advanced” exercises? The TRX is incredibly versatile and I doubt you’ll find a movement that can’t be accomplished by both straps.
I will say I purchased the WOSS trainer…
WOSS*
3 words:
Caffeinated protein powder. You’re welcome
If you’re new to training, just keep working and you’ll adjust. If you’re not a newbie, your training “program” might suck (a lot).
It’s ok to be sore. Unless you have an injury or predisposition to said injury you likely are not strong enough to hurt yourself. Form-wise, that’s a whole other post.
On that same token,…
You also must have not read the entire header before you clicked on it. The last word was beginners. You can throw ANYTHING at a beginner and they will progress. Unless you are watching their every move, no program can accommodate the rapid gains in strength a beginner will get and still be optimal enough.
Are you insinuating there is a best thing? Please, tell me more about your magic workout program and how much it costs. WHAT’S YOUR IG TAG, I MUST FOLLOW?!?!?!?!?!?
You missed the most important thing for a lot of people. Cover your windows. You can get kits for fairly cheap, or you can be really cheap and make your own plastic sheet kit. I had a 15 degree difference (at the window sill) when I taped some 2mil sheets of plastic to my windows. This was by measuring with a digital…
Shivering conditions present more than shivering in the body to lose calories, however this isn’t relevant to anyone. You have to be in very cold conditions for a long time (hours) without protection from the elements for you to get a measurable calorie burn.
(insert BS here) will be the same as working out for 1…
Depending on your specific details, you might need more protein than I recommended (mostly, how much muscle you have under what you’re attempting to lose).
The research comes from a few citations, but one is Eric Helms, a bodybuilder/powerlifter who coaches and gives out way too much quality information for free. He’s…
I have my clients on 120g protein for females, 160g protein for males. More or less depending on structure, but it doesn’t vary too far from that more often than not.... I’d say you’re not getting enough. If your weight is stable (and depending on your goals) you may need to sub out other calories for protein. This…
I was under the impression that baking soda was also heat reactive, not just pH reactive. Add it to fairly hot water (190+) and it gets pretty disruptive in that water. Could be incremental at lower temps in baking, too.
I don’t much care for eggs and oats, the texture doesn’t do it for me. I’d rather have an egg on the side, or better yet a protein shake since that better compliments the oats (protein powder in the shake is strange for me, too).
Protein pancakes would be a better option! They’re tasty!
This form is awful, and a perfect reason to not use a dumbbell (you can in a pinch, but it’s awkward and noticeably less effective. Hold the head of the DB, not the handle. This guy is a twat)
I think our perspectives are largely in agreement, but KBs add a ton of stability to the movements. It’s significantly more stable and balanced for a few populations that help them learn the movement: elderly, weaker individuals and women with less upper body mass/control, and those with upper extremity injuries that…
Yes absolutely. It’s interesting how most gyms are set up, but it is a business, not a means of doing things efficiently.
You could go even further and say that you only need: 4ish sets of dumbbells, a TRX (or $40 WOSS, which I really like), some jumpstretch bands like Rogue/EliteFTS sell and a bench to have a more tha…
