@Chronixal: This article and many threads just kept reminding me of this:

@christill: In addition to this, more casual gamers are also more casual shoppers (with respect to games). They get Mario Kart and NSMB and they're fine for the next year. Nerds like me get MW2, AC2, L4D2, and I just picked up cheap copies of Tales of Vesperia and Last Remnant on sale. That's just not normal, and I

@Rachel Fogg: A broad scope lets them see what other areas the technology can be applied to. So if they fit several related ideas into a product, give it out to a large audience, and see what clicks with the consumer base they will have thousands of pieces of feedback. They then translate the feedback into various

@Witzbold: Be consoled in the knowledge that, if you get it and then get a wheel later, you will still love it. I find it simply amazing even with the controller. It's not ideal perhaps, but your experience will not be hurting for it. #forzamotorsport3

@STG7: I did not suggest it was the sole reason. I even mentioned I was overstating it's effect (this means that "crippling" was the word I used to specifically overstate "xenophobia"). I believe Microsoft has fucked up often enough to be almost completely responsible for their own demise in Japan this generation.

@Rebochan: Yes, clearly I'm a bigot. Thank you for that.

My most tense game had to be Aliens vs Predator on the PC way back when. That game was freaking creepy for everything except the aliens.

@Archaotic: Just an FYI that the $40 credit only lasts until Dec 31st. I forget when FFXIII is out on PS3 but just throwing that out there since it wasn't mentioned in this article. #coupons

@Zookey: I think PC gaming is taking a back seat in many ways because it's a less controlled atmosphere. Many more people know how to download a self-installing file via torrent than know how to download and burn a 360/PS3/Wii game and then mod their console in order to play it.

@kahoona: Infinity Ward always wanted to be a console developer, not a PC developer. They used the PC to get to where they wanted to be. They even had to do another WW2 based game in order to get the dev kits for the consoles that they wanted from Activision.

@deanbmmv: While I don't have many issues with DLC honestly, I do think it's slightly tacky to announce DLC packs that cost money BEFORE you release your game.

@luigilogik: They both frequently talk about owning PS3's and Wii's, and I'm pretty sure e enjoys his DS more than any system he owns excepting the 360 (maybe; he talks up the DS often).

@Neko_Tech: If Bungie retained the rights to Myth instead of letting the third one go to someone else (which was mostly terrible), they could have done many great things. I would love for them to reacquire that IP.
