Yes... anyone who brought us Geometry Wars 2 has got some talent. That is one of my favorite XBLA games by far. In fact, the only other game I got the same, sheer enjoyment out of was probably 'Splosion Man. And I've played (and enjoyed) a lot of XBLA games.

@TheNewDemoman: I dare say I would become a game developer if that was the perk.

@TheNewDemoman: I dare say I would become a game developer if that was the perk.

@whitemex88: Companies do this for a few reasons.

@Nameloi: Because few religions actually spread "bigotry and hate" and billions of people worldwide still care about it. Our country was also founded on religious freedom, so yeah, it's kind of an American thing. Not sure if you're American, but just in case you are, I thought I'd throw that out there.

@Twyst3d: Wait, you excuse Blizz for not handling their forums because it's too much shit to sift through, but then you say that they handle their forums better than Treyarch? Do you even visit Treyarch's forums? I don't, but one pissed off CM sounds like another to me. Funny that you justify Tseric but not the dude

@Twyst3d: Wait, you used Blizzard as a good example of how to handle fans?

@Grimm808: To add to your initial point, the church goes so far as to make sure no (or very, very rarely) officially sanctioned events happen on Mondays so that families have as much opportunity to be together that night as possible.

@someone_else: They do use this information. I believe some developers design achievements around what has proven to be popular in the past (since developers have this trending info available to them via MS/Sony). For some reason I want to say Cliffy B (or one of the guys on his team) spoke about this very topic prior

@MudkipXD: That doesn't mean it isn't costly. Steam masks those costs by charging the companies instead of the consumers. Then the companies charge you. Makes everyone look nicer to the consumers.

@Strangelove: I think what I was getting at was that there is no positive angle to play up. The individual's conclusion that video games enabled him to successfully avoid that accident is misguided at best.

@Nicorahiah: I'm glad I wasn't the only one who heard that. I thought it was so hilarious that they just mention it in such an off-the-cuff manner.

@Strangelove: As stupid as the media can be with respect to video games, crediting playing GT or Ninja Gaiden as a child (i.e. - years before you obtain a license) is equally ridiculous in this case.

@TheCowboyPoet: Thanks. I might check it out again soon. Not sure if it's on Netflix, but my sister is an even bigger Buffyverse fan than I am so she has the series I can borrow.

@TheCowboyPoet: I wasn't a fan of Angel's character in Buffy, so I was a little tainted when I started watching his series. His character never did it for me. He rarely brought anything new to the series... Xander, Willow, Buffy, even Giles all grew over the stretch of the series. Angel didn't really. He fell in love

@TheCowboyPoet: See, as much as I've loved Buffy (I've watched the full series a good 10+ times now), I can't get into Angel. It has a few episodes that are great, but overall he just annoys the shit out of me.

@GamerKT: Rest assured it's awesome, as long as you don't mind campy humor and one episode that is so outdated it makes you feel awkward. But after 7 seasons (or 8+ if you're going to get into the comic as well) you will be pleased.

@Gyaruson 2.0: I agree completely with you. You even mentioned the two games I was going to. Finding intel that doesn't actually provide information, narrative, or anything else substantial was just a nuisance for me in COD4 (as one of many examples). But Bioshock? Batman:AA? Those were interesting pieces of the story

@DexterMoon: No offense to PS3 or Wii owners, but the 360 has always been the definitive Rock Band platform. Ever since there have been significant distribution issues with PS3 and Wii versions, up to the RBN it simply has been that way.
