I’ve no interest in traps, items, or environmental manipulation. I’ve never used them since the PS2 game and I wasn’t planning on starting now. All I care about is if the game is still fun, and by fun I mean challenging enough that I actually have to try.

Keep on thinking that bud, but Nintendo has repeatedly said that if they have to chose between going third party and not making games at all, they would chose the latter, every single time it’s asked, from the head of NCL to the leaders on various teams. And you know what? They can do that.

Your whole argument is bogus because Nintendo didn’t force anyone to do jack shit with the tablet controller. It was always optional for the developers, and many of them, including Nintendo themselves, just used it to allow for off-TV play.

Since I was recently put in a position where I have to make choices on peoples employment based on their representation of the company outside of work, I am sort of mixed on this.
