Hey there.

Do you feel like, in terms of gameplay, Dragon Age has developed a sort of split personality? It feels that with the latest installment, the game tries to be both, console action game and crpg strategy. Some, like myself, felt that it stretched its self too far to appease both types of play. I got really excited because at first i thought you were referring to Joystiq.... :(

Patricia, I haven't usually enjoyed your prose. I found that your articles were too personal and I often found that although they were well written they didn't help enlighten me on anything other than your own personal feelings. I'm not trying to demean you, I just don't think the writer should be the story.

Here comes the whiners needing to whine. let's hear them whine...oh such a whine.

Like, i don't understand what people like about this? Other than sharing some of the names of the original cast, it shared almost nothing with the source material. Like it,s a cool idea but there was nothing power rangersy about it. There wasn't even a zordon wearing sunglasses and smoking weed.

So there's been dozens of patches for Rome 2, I assume they improved the AI a lot. Is the AI in Atilla better than the multi-patched Rome 2? Or is your impression of Rome 2 AI from the launch?

I was the first person in my classroom to get it and for a fleeting second, I was the envy of everyone.

In multiple playthroughs i've had more appreciation for the puzzles. there's hints around teh world and dialogue i never noticed the first time through.

Yeah, I mean it's been so long but I don't remember that mechanic getting in the way. but you're right, it makes pixel hunting many times more difficult. I also don't know, if playing it today, I would be able to have the patience, I mean the one problem with adventure games is that you can't go home again. You can't

honestly, Poe's law got me there for a good two thirds...

It must be very hard for the victims of this hate movement to see a world in which the police give a shit about their safety.

No, no. We made an agreement before i bought it. shook on it and everything. I'm not going up to them at the end of the month and breaking their thumbs if they don't pay up. "I said no gamefaqs motherfucker! this'll teach you for being stuck in the petrified forest!"

So I have actually bought several of my friends this game. The deal is, finish it by the end of the months, not walkthroughs or they pay me back for the game. the point being that I actually think the puzzles are incredibly rewarding and make you feel like a genius for figuring it out.

At first they got frustrated

Wait, hold on, that stuff is never in the game? Man I'm 6 hours in and was wondering when i'd get to that point! fuck!

Haloid was bad-ass when it first came out and I was in high school. I was hooked on his stuff ever since. I never much cared for Red vs Blue but I checked out some episodes just for his over the top choreography. It's such a shame, he was clearly a talent and I'm sure would of gone on to do more awesome stuff.

How `bout... we all just hope all games are good.

Just so you're clear on the timeline, any ethics concerns came AFTER harassment. And the ethics concerns GG brought up never actually existed.

My guess is doing it because well... she wants to? Like she likes feminism and likes pointing out issues? So much so that it's probably worth the death threats, harassment, hacking, and just general awfulness of gamers.

Shut up.

Go away.
