The art book that came with Mass Effect 3 says "We needed to give Ashley more sex-appeal" that's the extent of their reason. My point is that they sexualized her, not because the character warranted but just because... she "needed" it?

They took this hard nosed soldier who wears heavy battle armour. They lightened her skin, embiggened her boobs, made her wear a miniskirt and highheels into battle, let her hair down, shoved makeup on her face. It didn't make any sense for the character, it was all just so lonely males could ogle at something. Like

Yeah, the redesign of her was blatently offensive in so many ways.

By saying "they cut the title in half" you imply that they're only making half a game which is untrue. If they cancel the second half then you'd have a leg to stand on. Have you been keeping up with the documentary? It's pretty solid stuff. If you're not a backer than you really shouldn't be complaining.

And Grim

Ya, I think ever since Double fine has decided try to go without publishers their PR has been a bit hazy. While Spacebase is a bummer, I still think where it is is now is a pretty solid game. I got 20 hours out of it anyway.

I still don't understand the hate directed towards him (not saying you hate him) especially

Spacebase-DF 9 didn't have 'backers' it had people who bought a thing. I was pretty sure the concept of DF-9 was that it'd be like Dwarf Fortress and thus never be content complete. Fairly certain that was the pitch. Maybe that was just on the DF website though. They need to be better at communication but that still

A marred track record of delivering on promises? Like what exactly? What exactly has he been fucking up? That he's releasing the two kickstarter projects? lil' fucking babies, is right.

Right yes, the two games he kickstarted are nearly out. Massive Chalice is already out to backers.

I've gone back 10 hours in dragon age origins because I didn't like my character's ears.

No one has ever declared themselves as "Social Justice Warriors" that's a projective people call someone who brings up a social issue. It's meant to dismiss or demean what that person has to say.

Oh man, that was a pretty quick turn around from "we stand for journalistic integrity" to "all women are whores!"

Oh man, you couldn't be more of a stereotype if you tried

Ugh.. gross. You're opinions are gross. You're gross.

That's unfortunate.

That was actually really cool. Great atmosphere. It was almost like a Myst game.

I don't really understand how someone over the age of 13 can play a game with these options which seem to be immersion breaking and pointless and not feel like a complete scumbag.

You made it all the way to the end of season 2? You're a stronger person and I, my friend.

"While not being a pro, you absolutely MUST be a fan or at least an active participant in the actual culture or hobby to make any meaningful, inciteful, and truthful opinions and arguments both for or against said hobby/medium. "
Why? Why can't an outside opinion that is not entrenched in the culture be a completely

Now playing

IF you start your sentence with something akin to "This is terrible, she doesn't deserve this but..." You should know that you actively negate your pretend concern and justify the awful acts.

Where'd you see horde mode? It says the fought through an environment. Which sounds like it's not really an arena map.
