Seeing that price tag reminds me that Square Enix fucked me over when I purchased FFT:WOTL. About two months after I bought the game for iOS they released the remastered version, since then they've scrubbed the unremastered game from the app store and it doesn't even show up in my purchased items in the store.

Your idea of "fair use" is not in step with copyright, using a full track might be the right thing to do in regards to the edit but you're using someone elses work without consent on many levels. I don't agree with the application of the law, but it is fairly clear here you are in the wrong legally.
