I'm working on a series bible at the moment and cars have been a big part of building some of the characters. For instance the main character drives a silver 280z Fairlady as he is an old school hitman who I imagined bought the car when it was new and has kept it running ever since. Any other suggestions for

I would label the destruction of my favorite car as a pretty silly story. The first car I bought for myself was a 93 Corolla wagon/hatchback, from what I understand it was actually kind of rare in the states although my father who has been to South America says they are all over the place down there. Mine was a

It looks like a rating system for a porn. GJ.

Chrono Cross (having not played CT) was a very good game, among the late ninties/early aughts Square titles that really shined, I feel it was derided because of the story in many ways. But if you don't carry too much baggage the plot twists are actually pretty effective and the game plays that aspect out well. I was

So lemme get this straight, we are lambasting the evidence of not just an assault but an allegation of rape against a family member? Stay classy interwebs.

I said "some people" (god knows haters gonna hate) but that obviously wasn't the case with most people. Honestly I wasn't 100% in love with HL2 as I felt HL was better paced, but then again HL was very formative for me.

I'm imagining a hurricane of blood and lead, shaped like a blood eagle, screaming down from the sky onto a terrified mass of kittens running for their lives.

Valve seems to be doing pretty well without releasing HL games whenever people want it. People said that HL2 wasn't up to par, which isn't in any way true, so le them do what they want. Which is to release games that are normally revolutionary.

We obviously didn't watch the same thing. I'll just take my hat and leave.

Technical aspects of the job are a lot more important than most people realize, most working directors don't have a strong grasp of budgeting/timing for effects heavy work (I'd provide some funny stories about The Avengers and Joss Whedon, but I don't want to get friends in trouble). So finding people who like to

As a professional filmmaker I was extremely impressed.

Agreed. They should buy Volition too and rebrand Saints Row as a GTA game. If they then put GTA:SR and GTA on rival development cycles they can have a much steadier stream of revenue from the series.

Yes and no. Is it okay to maybe imply that you have big people attached and let the internet do its thing? Yeah, probably. Is it okay to say that someone is going to work on a project when they haven't been contracted, along with a full press release? Absolutely not.

The ability to capitalize on that would be limited by the lens, card, and the CPU handling playback/recording. Sure, they can get more info with a bigger sensor but there is only so much your eyes can perceive at a range and only so much bandwidth you can cram into a card. Last gen CMOS sensors can literally show you

Heh, wasn't thinking.

I feel that sense of "lack of direction" was intentional (as silly as that might sound) but a concept inherently based on misdirection/unplausible situations logically needs to juggle that aspect well, slight of hand works miracles in that situation. Which Looper does.

Off hand, having not seen The Master, Zero Dark Thirty and maybe Skyfall if you can forgive or reconcile the third act there. Moonrise Kingdom and Drive both strike me as contenders but neither would have traction to win. It has been a weird year for scripts as many good ones have been screwed over by bad execution

Personally, I didn't think Looper had a great script. Great concept, great world, but I felt most of the dialog was rote and the third act just didn't satisfy. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was one of the best films I've seen this year, but it's script wasn't its strongest point.
