Sometimes a car you hate at first grows on you when you see it from more angles, etc. Not this coupe.

That's quite a blind spot. But I don't care. These Brits have learned Italian, and it's beautiful.

Clearly, there is a coverup of the collision that occurred between the Peugot and Renault trucks as they were hauling their respective loads to Frankfurt.

While I like fitting lots of people comfortably in a reasonably sized package, I think this will give a sales boost to Thule and X-Cargo.

I've never been a fan of the 'blades' on R8's flanks, but without them, it just looks kind of bland. And I can certainly see why it needs a rear view camera. Meh.

@rebeldevil: Funny thing is, from the beltline down, it IS 2nd-gen A-body...I never realized that 'til now. The difference is all in the greenhouse.

@maximum-sienna: Instead of driving while on your cell phone, you'll drive while IN your cell phone.

Rip in the time-space continuum, blah, blah...

I had a rodent of some kind nest too close to a belt once, which caused bad things to happen. And let's just say the type of rodent could not be determined.

@TimTim: The 'Zits' comic strip had one where the kid texts his father from a party, and the dad gets in the car, drives over and responds in person. He explains, 'Believe me, it's easier this way.'

Was the fire extinguisher standard? Hmmm...The full-width shelf under the dash is interesting, provided everything you put on it has a patch of Velcro.

Still puzzling over that back end. If it's got a wing that deploys at speed, I'll excuse it...otherwise, they just expended all their artistry on the front 90% of the car.

Do you remember staring at your Hot Wheels and wondering what it would be like to shrink down so you could actually sit in one, or have it blow up to life size? Childhood fantasy realized.

Sorry, from every angle this looks like something fell on it. The first shot looks like the roof is turning into a sinkhole. Not that I would kick this out if it appeared in my garage.

@Adam Spano: I think the angle is making the gap in the fence look smaller than it is. Also, it's likely the car bounced off the opposite side of the pool from where it entered, and then floated and drifted for a bit before it sank. It would be harder to explain how someone 'shopped just the right amount of

The '66 Toronado. Still a jaw-dropping design 40+ years later, and packed with good stuff under the skin.

@Flathead Smith: You forgot teeth. And shoes, which this looks like.

I would have paid $11K for the privilege of reading what I just read, but I got that for free. The car isn't worth nearly as much. I mean, really...why?

This would be more fitting if he drove an Evo.

"Let's take a look."
