Nothing about the Trump campaign has been honest or forthright, with every party involved seemingly unclear on how to comport themselves in public when confronted with questions that demand answers, not regurgitated boilerplate language or dangerous rhetoric.

The manual notes that employees must “substitute their earned and unused vacation days and personal days for any otherwise unpaid FMLA leave.”

Like most business men, he’s a cheap asshole and will do anything to squeeze as much out of his workers and only giving them what the government requires so they don’t get fined. One of the many reasons why privatization screws regular people over.

And there you have it... An empty, orange suit says things, and a derelict media lets him phone in his performance without any real follow up or questioning about any number of scandals that would automatically eject any other “normal” candidate. But because he’s Donald Trump.

Now playing

Trump lies. It would only be news if he actually told the truth for once in his live.

I felt sympathy for Ivanka when she seemed to stick to “He’s my dad, he’s great” statements. Now she has waded into spouting brazen lies, and claiming media bias when presented with facts.

God! This election. Every day, I say things can’t get more insane and yet.

I keep reading “incredible” as in “defies credulity.” As in “I cannot believe he is peddling this shit as groundbreaking.”

I’d take that bet, but I don’t have any small bills.

I’m so lost at this. President Obama has been pushing for a similar program (six weeks of paid parental leave) for years. Heck his plan is MORE inclusive than Mr. Trump’s. (It includes fathers, same sex couples etc) http://www.govexec.com/pay-benefits/2…

I’m someone who is commenting on Jezebel therefore I am a part of what you were talking about. But if you weren’t, great.

I can’t find the quote now, but David Sedaris once wrote (in Me Talk Pretty One Day I think) a quote from his father about the unimportance of men maintaining themselves, something to the effect of: men’s bodies are just sacks of meat that carry their brains around.

They probably do and are just able to conceal it, while they keep campaigning.

Also, Trump is the genius who said that he likes fast food because “at least you know what they are putting in it.”

We have reached another all-time-low when a campaign becomes about scrutinizing the state of a candidate’s organ functions as a means of diminishing their competency. And it will get worse.

Seriously. I am all for government transparency, but transparency should be about how decisions are made, who has influence, etc. It doesn’t mean elected officials need to make an announcement every time they have the case of the sniffles.

To be fair, only four presidents have died due to bodily ailments, and only 2 of those deaths were in the twentieth century—both before the discovery of the polio vaccine and the standardization of immunization procedures. So, the notion that we should be perpetually concerned about a president’s health based on your

News outlets are getting those numbers by talking to people who were in the audience, so it’s probably not surprising that they’re hearing different numbers from people. I doubt most of the live audience was in there taking notes.

I could be wrong. But I don’t doubt Trump has lied about his height. He has lied about having the tallest building in Manhattan after the World Trade Center Collapse, and has also (most likely, though I don’t care to actually see) about the size of his penis. So, sure, why wouldn’t he lie about how tall he is?

Seriously, right? I used to put my life out there for anyone and everyone without a care in the world. And then I got divorced... and when I starting going out again and running into old friends/acquaintances half of them knew my personal business and would bring it up with no prompts from me. It drove me freaking
