They did a first gen Cherokee on the headlights.

I have been known to answer “Poncho’s Porn Palace and Pizza Emporium, home of the world famous white sauce!”
That’s funny. The guys in the airport hawking religion always start with “Can I ask you a question?” To which I reply “You just did!” and keep walking.
Is that a good car to invest in
Aren’t you late for a protest or something?
The plane already has an airworthiness certificate from Mooney. The issue is going to be replacement parts for that unicorn engine. Once that engine is timed out at (I assume) 2000 hours getting parts for an overhaul is going to be tough.
I think it looks really good and am excited for the Type-S. I have a soft spot for Acura’s having owned an Integra v-tec and TL Type-S during Acura’s glory days, its been a while since they’ve had something I am interested in.
So, wait a year or two and import a 4-door Integra Type R.
That's what I said and got shit for it.
I’m aware. That’s why I don’t drive an F350 but one that’s practical, quick fast and “reasonably” economical. I’m no different from any other car buyer purchasing according to their needs /wants. But somehow that’s childish. Frankly buying for your family’s needs seems pretty adult to me.
The electrical grid is already failing due to California’s pipe dream of relying on solar and wind-generated power. The new plan is to require cars that will suck massive amounts of electricity from the grid. Neat.
Make my payments and you get a say. Until then I’ll buy the car that fits my needs/wants. My current and last cars were turbocharged Subaru wagons because I like fast practical cars. Like I said, drive what you want and enjoy it guilt free. I know I do.
In fairness, most of the “ban ICE cars” ideas completely ignore the vast spaces of rural country. These are places that are lucky to have a single EV charger in a 50 mile radius, if one at all. And unless some companies are going to shell out the cash needed to build rural EV infrastructure (not likely) that’s not…
So that means 2034 Model Year new-cars sale will be massive....
What’s hilarious about this California knee-jerk is that we just ran the experiment in April— and took 95% of the cars off the roads. We shut that bitch down.
Drive what you like. It’s your money. I’ll drive what I like. It’s my money.
Buy a 2032-2034 whatevermobile and make it last as long as possible. then buy on the used market in the future in or out of state. I don’t see where used ICE cars will be illegal.
California doesn’t have the Electricity infrastructure to support a mass movement to electric vehicles, as their utilities currently can’t support consistent electricity (here in San Diego at least) during the hottest days with peak A/C demand, when rolling blackouts are the norm. Better hope a few next-generation…
So in other words, only the rich will have cars in California? How progressive.
This is so fucked. The CA power grid cant handle summers and falls as is. No way they can get power production ready for this. That’s only 15 years away and as a reminder CA wont build any coal, natural gas, nuclear, or hydro plants to serve the demand, only solar and wind. For this plan to work they would also need…
