It was the Today show, actually, I checked. I posted another comment about it further down the thread, with the relevant links. Prepare yourself. It's one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever watched/read/heard about/imagined. :(

Oh wait, that's the interview I saw half of, not The Daily Show. So actually I had probably already heard the rumours before then, which I admit would have coloured my ability to tolerate him, but that interview was terrible in every way.
Exhausting, isn't it? Thank you so much for your backup, I really appreciate it. I think we've done our due diligence here... anyone who still doesn't get it is going to make a point of not getting it, loudly.
Oh, thank God you want to do finances and PR, because that is NOT my field. I check my online bank statements with one eye closed so I don't have to go off on a murderous rant about point-of-sale charges stealing all my (paltry) monies.
This is the greatest input, thank you so much! It really sets my mind and heart at ease to think that other people are paving the way for what I hope to be able to do.
And also: joking about murderers (because I wouldn't find a joke at the expense of their victims funny) doesn't make people suddenly think that murder is a good idea. Either someone is a psychopath / sociopath or they're not; society doesn't have any grey area about whether or not murder is okay or whether a murder…
Oh my God, you must read about it. Your skin will turn inside out.
You are fantastic; thanks for stepping in with this.
Yeah, except Rebecca said, "Unfortunately some of the hashtag devolved into an excuse to make some spectacularly gross and unfunny rape jokes." — she chose not to include those here, for which I'm grateful. That outcome was unfortunately inevitable on the internet... not everyone understands the difference between 'a…
I see that in the picture here, he's wearing a hat, so I'm going to write, "How do you like my hat?" and people will laugh heartily.
You make an effective analogy. (Though Cosby always kind of creeped me out, so I believed the rumours the first time I heard them. I saw him on The Daily Show right before I heard the stories, and I found him painfully unfunny. Like, flesh-crawlingly unfunny. I had to leave the room and let my boyfriend watch the rest…
Well, that was wise. Rape jokes are extremely dangerous territory; very few people can do them right. (I am in the camp that says "rape is never funny" and "rape is not a punchline", but under very rare circumstances and when done with skill, I have little problem with the mocking of someone who has clearly abused his…
Yeah, I bet. They don't have them in Ireland anyway, so that's part of why I don't see the fuss, but when I go to the U.S. they just strike me as overpriced and not such amazing quality. (Plus I've heard enough murmurs of ethics issues to make me disinterested in supporting them.) If I'm going to spring for expensive…
Yeah, everytime I see a scantily-clad model wearing a Native American headdress on the runway, my first thought is not "good taste". :-/
I can't watch it either. Too cringeful. But I must say, props to her for (presumably) being honest on the spot like that. I know that after videos like this are released, a lot of people say "she should've said yes and then let him down privately later", but WHY should she? Why do people act like it's up to women to…
They're basically for the Kimyes of the world. They're for the people who really want applause after they say "yes".
Surprise proposals - like where one person completely doesn't see it coming - make me break out in hives. How are you supposed to answer a question about the rest of your life, on the spur of the moment, if you haven't even alluded to it previously? What kind of a future does a couple have if one half of them is…
Exactly. If you look at any of the high-profile pedophile cases that have been coming out in the last few years, it's so often the same story. Jerry Sandusky: had access to kids through coaching and his "charity". Jimmy Saville: had access to kids through his TV show and charity work which gave him full access to kids…
It makes me sad that even if they let him in to see the falcons now, it'll be kind of bittersweet. In fact, he might never be able to see another falcon without being reminded of how disappointed he was that day. They ruined falcons for him! Actually, I think they kind of ruined falcons for me too. Maybe for everyone. …
Seriously. If you look at the odds, I'd say there's a far greater likelihood of one of their own employees abusing their position than some random person walking through the park. It would be really difficult for someone to separate a child from their parents in an amusement park scenario; families tend to stick…
