Actually it took a lot of engineering and design to even make it happen. The gearbox alone had to be so specially designed, that not even F1 teams that made gearboxes for F1 cars were able to help. Even the exhaust manifolds are special. This car stretched the engineering capabilities of the internal combustion engine.
