Ahh, the venerable E31. Great to look at, ok to drive, horrid to own. Never, ever get an 850i, unless you've got enough money to throw into it.

Of course, most of us are going to agree with Desu, and it's because he has a point. When you look at the M1, that was built for racing. When you look at the E30 M3, that was also built for racing. Then you look at the E28 M5, and sure, that wasn't built for racing, but that M5 blew the doors off of any other 4 door…

I don't know who any of these people are, or why they matter.

yea I'm not going to be buying turbo anything anytime soon. Maybe a Subaru, but that's about it.

yea but look at the size of this thing, I should have specified, the day they stopped putting the V8 in the S4, I was very unhappy.

I also love the E28, I had one of those as well. E34s are ok, but the E39s are the best IMO. A nice, clean, 530i with the 5 speed is the best one to get. The V8 engine in the 540i is too unreliable.

I always try to make eye contact with as many people as I can, I don't understand why this would be creepy, I just a do a small polite nod, and sometimes, a small polite smile. Like I said, I do this to everyone I can, and yes, even in NYC.
