Yep. Did you hear they actually got $100,000 in donations AFTER the assault story came out? How much of that do you think is because they were like “hyuh-hyuh, yeah hang the journalists, hyuh-hyuh.” They’re totally okay with the assault and I bet they wished they could have done it themselves and gotten away with it

Maybe they will all just die when the Medicare expansion is rolled back.

Also, this guy thinks that social security should be abolished because Noah lived to be 600 years old & never sucked from the government teat so we shouldn’t either.

This is a guy who openly assaulted a reporter, and he got elected by a seven point margin. If this doesn’t make Republicans reconsider party loyalty, nothing will.

Don’t forgive the early voters; he was still a creationist who believes that dinosaurs died in the Noah’s Ark flood :/

I doubt it as he was only charged with a misdemeanor. Tons of people in congress have criminal records and it doesn’t keep them out of office- not sure if they’re convicted while in office, but I think a misdemeanor is unlikely to get him out. Now if he were a democrat.....

That’s my point. It’s a ‘red state’ and nothing changes that. Even physically assaulting a reporter for asking a question, then lying about it despite recordings disproving the account.

Whatever tiny shred of hope I had in American democracy is gone now. There are no longer any standards. It’s just whether the candidate has a D or an R next to their name. Why bother voting anymore? What a joke.

I absolutely knew that this shitbag assaulting a reporter wouldn’t hurt his chances in the election; if anything, it would make him more popular.

I know, early voting yada yada, but this country and its voters just fill me with despair and disgust.

It seems ridiculous...but it worked. The whole credit sequence was basically an 80s dance party.

Mmm, i felt the same but about Karen Gillan. Jesus, I could watch her dance as Nebula all day long.

I will be so goddamn happy when Pirates 5 is out and I can stop seeing that trailer.

or maybe even a Watcher himself.

She really ties the room together, whatever galaxy.

Also, watching Gamora Zoe Saldana dance during the end-credits was a beautiful revelation.
