I’m living on mostly rice, these days, but still subscribe to the New Yorker.

Let she who has NOT hidden in the drapes to avoid the sweaty advances of an inveterate pussy-grabber cast the first stone. Amirite, ladies?
Goddammit, fuck those assholes sideways. With a cactus. I’m so fucking sick of the GOP taking advantage of the complete stupidity of their voting base who thinks “defunding Planned Parenthood” means “no more baby killin,’ Maw.” All they do is screw themselves over and ultimately increase the abortion rate - just not…
All Republican voters are either ignorant or malevolent. They either don’t understand what they’re doing or, worse, they do.
“I don’t want to pay for baby killers. I won’t get the cancer because Jesus will love me for defendin’ them babies” *takes drag off cigarette*
“The state is “giving up millions of dollars in federal funding” that pays for family planning services like birth control, cancer screenings, breast exams, STD tests and treatment, and more...”
The damage caused by Roger Ailes is truly breathtaking in its impact and scope. Professionally, he was a proto-Rove Richard Nixon accomplice and enabler who went on to found the most powerful and pervasive propaganda network in modern history, which was profoundly responsible for training millions to disregard…
For thousands of years, we didn’t reward ghoulish monsters who needlessly made vulnerable people’s lives unquestionably worse with fabulous wealth and power. Since capitalism and modern media has reversed that tradition, we can drop the pretense of respectability when one of these assholes dies on the toilet.
What about Cheney?
Death comes in infinities.
Waterboarded to death by pissing Russian prostitutes.
Correct. Had Cornell been 77 and Ailes been 52, we could call it a wash.
Ailes was a slurry pond with legs, and his death should be sung to the high heavens. He and Scalia are two of the only people whose deaths I celebrate
It sure as fuck helps though
I’m sad only because we won’t get to experience the joy of finding out he died ever again.
Right, but sometimes, you don’t need a name. Sometimes, a location or some other small bit of information is enough. That’s part of the nature of intelligence work - you are given some amount of information and use it to extract additional data.
The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a bomb, is a good guy with a bomb. Good buy bombs only kill bad guys, so nothing to fear....but fear itself.
The trick to this problem is to bring your own bomb on board. The odds that there’s one bomb on a plane is incredibly small, but the odds of there being two bombs on board are infinitesimal...
