I never noticed much added weight when I ditched my optical drive, but I agree that the combination of SSD and HDD is definitely worth it.

Or you could just mandate the use of silencers....

Step one. become big successful company

Well duh, all obese women are stupid so it only makes sense that their kids would be too.

Knew a kid that rear ended a school bus. Yea the big yellow kind with flashing lights that are kinda hard to miss. Speed limit was 20 and he blew a stop sign and blamed it on trying to stop but hit some wet leaves and skidded through... His daddy is the insurance agent, I'm sure he hates his son. (this kid has totaled

This is one of those articles where I looked around before I clicked on it so my boss wouldn't be hovering over my shoulder asking me why I'm so interested in kiddie porn. Also Pedobear approves of this article.

I have never took physics, I just wanted an excuse to post that picture. Also I'm a dick and feel obligated to comment on things.

If I ever get really bored, I could always pull all the tape out and teepee a house or something. I probably have some VHS tapes to add to the mess. The main reason I keep them is for when someone tries to sue me for copyright violation I can have a physical copy that I bought. I know the article was more focused on

Actually, as douchey as that guy looks, I give him props. He is wearing a helmet and a leather riding jacket. A lot of the tool bags I see have on a cut off t-shirt with just a pair of Oakley sunglasses. (knock offs most likely.) Some even go as far as to wear those khaki cargo shorts and flip flops.... On the bright

Actually the sky isn't a color at all, the atmosphere acts as a prism and the light from the sun shining through it makes the sky appear to be blue.

I could "go offline" and by that I mean, if someone took away my internet access I could mail my portable hard drive to my friend with a list of things I need every once in a while. There is no way I could go back to the stone ages and put all my computers in a storage unit for a year though.

I have a huge black and purple case with slide out drawers full of old cassettes. Anything in there worth listening too, I just download a torrent of in higher quality and the others I just keep because 10 years from now I can look through them and go "Wow, what was I smoking" and throw them away. Now my vinyl

Don't forget granny! lol.

"importance of 'stretching' an under-sized tire onto an over-sized rim" I have always wondered why people do this. Also, If you shave your door handles and accidentally leave your headlights on, wouldn't you be unable to get into the car since the door poppers are usually electric.

Of the speakers tested here, only one is battery powered and all of them are over $400. I just wonder why people would be willing to pay that much for a single speaker that is still tied to an outlet. There are compact wireless/bluetooth/airplay speakers that are battery powered that could be handy if you wanted to

I will never understand why people buy speaker docks and wireless speakers. If you want a compact audio system, just buy some powered studio monitors hooked to an airport express. Less money, better sound so much win.

Volvo. My dad had one, and I loved it.

That looks pretty pointless. IMO it looks tackier than just having them lying next to the computer. I also don't trust people around my nice headphones so I keep them in a case most of the time.

Kansas. I live right by the capital, there isn't much for public transportation, the climate changes all the time (If you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes and it will change), and cars are cheap to own and operate. The roads here are generally good. Tolls are cheap, cops are pretty lenient, and there's not a lot
