I don't think I could work on a 12" notebook. I upgraded to a 15" MacBook pro and still have my original 13" MacBook. Ok so obviously this is a terrible idea if you are looking for a handrail, but if you just use the instructions and mount the plexi tubes with LEDs on the wall they would be some pretty cool lamps.
