In Portland it’s usually easier to walk, take the bus or the train. I probably take Uber once a month, when I don’t want to drive and the public transit time is double or more. Cost is another big factor. In downtown, you can pay up to $4/hr to park on the street.

Ooooh, an F bomb in every sentence. SO EDGY! The hallmark of a lazy comedian.

That was some awful basketball to watch. Shame!

Don’t need a speedometer anyways. I live in Portland, land of no traffic cops. But I still like the dual display of the MS, if for nothing other than the time and the track playing.

My wife calls that the F1 anthem.

I think I saw two passes for position on track. It’s great that the front of the grid is competitive, but I’m afraid the wider cars and turbulence is going to make for a lot of parades.

M228i GT Gran Coupe Xdrive ePerformance to save the day.

You can get a used 500e with under 20k miles for like 6 grand. The power electronics and 24kWh battery are worth more than that. I want to buy one and strip it for a backup battery on my house.

We had 4 snow storms in Portland this year, when it normally doesn’t snow at all. One of the storms was almost a foot, and the city is not equipped to deal with that. So the roads didn’t get plowed, the snow was compacted and washboarded. Then it rained, froze, rained, froze and destroyed the roads across town. I

The Portland one is a 16 year old Daimler Benz with 170k miles and a salvage title. What could go wrong?

I saw this coming and I’m glad Edd isn’t going along with it. The recent season had more of Mike working on cars, and a lot less detail with Edd’s work. Totally the wrong direction to take. Hopefully there’s a new YouTube channel in the making.

My wife has a CT200h, a car that looks fairly sporty, and was marketed as such. It takes nearly 10s to reach 60 and has the hateful CVT from the Prius. She loves it but I’d rather walk.

Oh god now they’re doing that awful scrolling ad here too. You’re better than that Jalopnik.

Just wait until you notice 2000's GM trucks all have a dead DRL. Or the Explorer tailgate crack.

Oh, you sold your highly desirable low milage one owner SUV to Carmax for wholesale price? After we had a lengthy discussion about how you could get double that price selling it online, probably the same day? And you got that out of warranty 6 year old BMW I warned you about? I’m so happy for you!

Tesla does this because they need to keep you interested in an 8 year old design. The Model X was an unsuccessful detour that distracted them from their plan, so they have to rely on the Model S to keep the factory full until the 3 ramps up.

I had season tickets for the D’Backs for most of the 2000's. I can’t tell you how many times this internal debate took place:

If you call to cancel Sirius when you’re up for renewal, they will always give you a new promotional 5-6 month offer. I’ve been paying about $50 a year for as long as I can remember (7 years?). I have it in my calendar to call. Takes 15 minutes. Top tip, they offer you a more expensive option first, decline it.
