Hi there Pie Pie! I haven’t been working on much so I don’t have much to show but I’ve started on my Harry Potter Hufflepuff crest. So far I’ve spent the better part of 3 days on it. I’m thinking of making it into a little house banner when I’m done.

I made a cosy for my coffee press and repaired some jeans, but it takes forever to upload pics from phone (gremlins?) and I didn’t plan ahead so I’ll have to post them some other time. I was especially happy with the cosy because it works (!!) and I found fabric to match the 60s dish set I got from my grandmother.

Leaving aside the fact that “massive” can simply mean “very large,” an inflated hot air balloon can weigh over two tons. so it’s questionable whether it would be technically correct to say a hot air balloon could not be massive. Or what if we were simply comparing a very small balloon to a very large one?

Can I say that from a European perspective “sick days” are a little strange? I mean having a set amount of them. There have been years I’ve hardly been sick a day and others where I was out three or four weeks. In the first case I would have been tempted to use the days “just so”, in the second case I might have been
