Just wondering what proportion of a full charge that 0-60 zap uses and what sort of range one gets if it’s not ultra-miled.
How long does a full charge take ?

As they say “It ain’t over ‘till the fat lady sings” ... it is an ENDURANCE race, if you can’t run till the end too bad.
Thank you sir, you made my morning.
Because they deserve it .... that is all.
What did they have prewar ?
Don’t remember what my E30 had, but my E24 is WBA.........
I’m just going to quote Giorgetto Giugiaro
I found a paper on the subject (pdf) :)
I’m an Aussie and the original is best, but be thankful you only got it redubbed, normally Hollyweird would have made a shallow “cleaned up” pale imitation for US release, look at the Aussie TV Series “Rake” and its US remake as a prime example.
I vote for a 3 way tie, Traction Avant, DS & SM, with a the burning Turbo 2CV “escargo flambe” getting an honourable mention.
There were a few aftermarket E24 Convertibles, they look OK with the top down, but I shudder to think how much stiffness they’d lose ...
I Love it :D Mine has the dogleg 5 speed close ratio ‘box, which is less than ideal for high speed cruising, but is fantastic for the right roads, bigger and heavier than my previous car (and E30), more conspicuous but seriously good fun to drive.
Sadly no you can’t drive it ;)
Its an E24 635CSi, the race car is from 1985, mine is a 1986 Manual with the M-Technic Bodykit.
Takes me back, to erm the 1980’s when I had a beetle, rebuilt that engine, replace the gearbox at one point, mine started like as a single carb 1300 and ended up as iirc 1850 cc twin carbs.
I’d love to see them try to steal a car with a dogleg :D
Never before has the phrase “Brute Force and Ignorance” been more apt.
After reading this I’d say he’s perfect ;)
There’s an interview with Pete Dumbreck who was driving that car, he was asked what was the first thing that he noticed was wrong, he replied “Too much blue in the windscreen”
Looks like a list of the most boring cars, but that would correlate, different brands attract different kinds of people, and result in different driving styles, which in turn is going to impact how people perceive the reliability (or otherwise) of their cars.
BMW 2002 Turbo ....
