This happens every once in a while- someone finds sealed food in a tomb or something like that, and they just HAVE to try it.

Well shit. I just spent the last few hours reading through all of Ito's stuff I could pull from the intarwebs.

@kerplaw: I've tried WMC, but it's just so...clunky. Since it's not 'supposed' to be modified, there's always the chance of running afoul of update problems or Vista-and-onwards' DRM (that is, if you don't build your own custom edition).

@tuxus: Using a pair of RAID 1 1tbs for video streaming, a pair of 500gb's for docs, music, and pics (100gb alone in /b/'s stupidity) and a pair of 250gb for backups.

I'd hate to see them come face-to-face with Lobo. That could get messy.

@Chris Ponce: I know- I see no possible way that this will be canon to Bryan Singer's trilogy, unless they make it very clear that it's an alternate timeline of the first (JJ Abrams, I'm looking at you).

About to shift around my home network. Hopefully, replacing my bigass mATX HTPC and it's tiny drives with a little ITX Shuttle box, replacing my crappy and bigger ATX desktop with the HTPC, and building a 6-disk, RAID 1 server that will just so have happened to be my old desktop, and streaming my music, video, and

@Derek Pegritz: I still can't figure out why that is; Japan's the only country on Earth to live with the psychic and cultural effects of a nuclear attack.

No matter how much thought you put into it, nothing will ever make bacon a safe food for stoned people.

Macallan 15-year.

@slego: Hell yes. 1792 is just as smooth as scotch, but nice and sour. Amazing stuff.

@zav: But is there anything that will keep them from marking in the first place?

@Yargnit: The problem here goes far deeper than the maintenance of global hegemony through military development and deterrence.

This is bull. Weak sauce, statistically, experimentally, and politically.

@Batman: True- "Basterds" functioned on more and higher levels than simple graphic violence and revenge fantasies. Tarantino makes it very obvious to any audience that the targets in the film are not necessarily evil.

@rjdub: S'alright. I don't even have anything to do with the sciences, it's just a hobby. There are plenty of physicists, mathematicians and engineers of every variety here who can help you better than I.

@r3loaded: Agreed. Unless you have large secondary partitions that have very specific tasks, then just stick with ext3 or 4, depending on your distro and flavor.
