That was my favorite joke from Secret of the Ooze.

Maybe that's what's so endearing about it. It was very tongue-in-cheek.

Splinter almost being killed was pretty dark. At one point I think the turtles believed he was dead.

I still laugh about that guy seeing the giant dandelions and going *Dandelions!* in this stoner-like voice.

I loved both the first and second movies. To be fair, i was a preteen.

The original 1990 Turtles movie was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I can still quote it! It was kind of hokey, like the author says, but it had heart and some clever jokes.
