Jared Kushner will be frustrated. He had “fixing the opioid epidemic” on his to-do list for Wednesday afternoon (between “defeat ISIS” at 11:30 AM and “renegotiate NAFTA” by 1:15 PM.) now he’ll have to find something else to do for that hour and a half.

He knew how to bargain with Democrats and has a few things contributing to a lasting positive legacy like the EPA and his arms reduction treaties. To get an idea of how thoroughly Reagan’s nonsense screwed up American conservatism: Nixon,

So this is just pure, horns on the head evil, right? Like, they aren’t even trying to hide this shit anymore.

Oh, and the bill also specifically exempts congressmen, their staff, and families from any of its bullshit. Just in case you thought that maybe they weren’t aware of how awful it is, they made sure that it just applies to other people.

Rape and domestic violence can be considered “pre-existing conditions” under this bill. Let the implications really sink in.

Jacksons financial policies (namely undermining the Bank of the United States) were widely viewed as causing the Panic of 1837- the worst financial crisis in the country at that point.

Good idea.
