So on a macro level, how are Hinkie’s Sixers any different than Epstein’s Cubs? Epstein’s better in terms of micro- player personnel decisions, and he hasn’t been as unlucky, but the overall idea of punting a few years in order to be better on the other end is the same.

I wouldn’t even use them for “info.” For instance, which teams have the best ATS records is completely useless information. Teams do well against the spread because a) they’re better than the linesmakers had believed or b) they’re on a fortunate run. Unfortunately for us, sportsbooks usually can tell the difference

Arbitrage is a sub-class of advantage-betting. It’s basically finding discrepancies in lines across different books and betting both sides in a way that would guarantee a profit. Say one book has Klitschko +100, and another one has Fury +110. If you bet $1000 on each side, you would make $100 if Fury won, and break

Trade the #2 pick and Nick Young for Curry and Thompson and they’re in business!

Surely he would’ve been this contrite if he’d never been caught that night!

Her statement is incredible.

Point taken. Although, Khan’s entire fight-selection strategy seems to be to fight the biggest name avail. We can probably agree that fighting Brook is a more prudent course of action (shot at Brook’s belt, far better chance of winning, would do massive business in the UK), but Khan’s...curious.

If it’s not GGG, I

Pac and Bradley aren’t in his weight class, so...

Once Canelo dispatches Khan, it seems that there are going to be two pretty clear-cut choices: Lose his belt or fight GGG. De La Hoya was able to put it off once, I don’t think he’s going to be able to put it off again.

Canelo’s going to get stripped if he doesn’t fight GGG, and I’m pretty sure Golovkin isn’t interested in step-aside money.

(To preface, I’m a lifelong GS fan):

The year after Curry, GS drafted Ekpke Udoh. Before Gordon Heyward, Paul George, AF Aminu. The year before, they drafted Anthony Randolph mid-1st round. Before Robin Lopez, Ryan Anderson, Ibaka, Batum.

Not drinking in social situations in your 30's is a relative breeze compared to HS or college. In my experience you run into more young people who take issue with it than people who are older.

I don’t really have a backstory, but I share more just based on the situation. If someone’s asking out of genuine curiosity,
