One thing that put me off a bit about the finale was that it didn’t address the paradox around Will and Angela knowing Judd was a member of 7K/Cyclops. Will knows Judd is a part of Cyclops because Dr. Manhattan tells him in 2008; Dr. Manhattan knows this because Angela tells him this in 2019; Angela knows this this

I spent a good while this morning thinking that the Slate literary beat writer had at some point lost her mind. Apparently though she is doing fine and is actually “Katy Waldman,” a different person.

I think they gave him amphetamines. His campaign probably hoped it would make him think more quickly and speak more clearly, but it just ended up making him speak his nonsense faster and jump from topic to topic without the use of any clear segues.

That Disney now owns “The Simpsons” will never cease to strike me as exceedingly strange. It certainly seems like the most adult fare they’ll be offering.
