I think the recapper has this all wrong. There was one dragon at the end and it was ridden by Laenor (who is a Targ through his mom the Queen Who Never Was) and probably got an egg from her when he was a baby.

I liked Lynch’s Dune (in some ways more so than the recent one), and I also really liked The Straight Story in part because it is so unexpected for Lynch. And because I really like Richard Farnsworth, although mostly for The Grey Fox.
But I wish I had worked with someone so creative.
As one doctor to another, I hear The Fall (2006) directed by Tarsem is pretty good!
As someone who worked on cell towers years ago until almost falling off one due to an incorrect installation, fuuuuuuck this movie.
Now she has to become a governor.
How can you run an obit about this guy without mentioning “Time Bandits?” I mean, he certainly doesn’t come to mind when I think of Twin Peaks. When Bruce Willis dies I full expect the headline here to be
Mark Gatiss: “Do you have any idea what happened to your severed head?”
Warner’s greatest role was playing Evil in Terry Gilliam’s Time Bandits.
Loved him in Time Bandits and The Man With Two Brains! R.I.P.
Oh no! Warner was always one of my favorites!
Found the energy vampire.
He got that peoples’ court show in the 80's. I’m sure he’s alright.
Alternately, he’s in his 50s, had some scary health moments, has an improbably good life, including a kid he dotes on, a wife he knows is too good for him, friends and fans.
If he’s reached an age where his ambition is just making that core group happy, I’m not sure I can fault that.
A few friends had a similar conversation with me not too long ago. I went to rehab and everything, and have been sober since. It really is crazy how much your life improves if you just let it. About to hit my 6 months sobriety date, which I know isn’t that long, but for me it’s a lifetime.
As “songs to die to” go, Roam is a pretty good choice.
It all comes down to his face. I have to hand it to Foley--his face drops into such utter despair whenever the song is on and he’s just staring off. It lends the thing a whole other level that is so depressing and also so perfectly Kids in the Hall.
Cop Land was stacked with talent and very underrated.
More people need to watch Cop Land. It was so good and it’s still so relevant.
