Puritans breastfed all over the damn place. They weren’t nearly as puritanical as we think.

Haha! Also breastfeeding my early riser over here. I didn’t even notice until I saw your comment. It’s just that automatic.
“There’s too much data consistent across studies…time and time again…to ignore it and suggest BPA has no effect on humans,” says Gail Prins, a physiologist at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Reading this while breastfeeding one of my twins. I don’t wear anything these days that doesn’t give me instant and somewhat discreet access to my boobs, the requirement I have used to choose all clothes in the last year - how fast can I access my boobs? This woman is a rock star!!!!
I see new life for BBC Mom:
It’s not a trick, nursing bras have a snap that’s designed to use with one hand, and as a mother of two, she knows to pick clothes that are easy to nurse in. If you nurse on demand, you do that a billion times a day and can do it in a blink

A list of all the black actors who have won Oscars, and their roles:

Whoo…
In Russia, where I grew up, March 8th was like valentine’s day and mother’s day rolled into one. Everyone was super into it, and unlike valentine’s day, it really celebrated all women, but I don’t remember it ever being super consumerist, probably for the obvious reason that there wasn’t much to consume. You were…
Are you asking me if Tyler Perry has become self-aware and realized his deep hatred of Black women is rooted in colorism that has plagued our community since the colonizers took us? No, I don’t. He did an interview a few years back that showed he had no clue.
I spent 4 years doing engagement for a survey panel in which it was the exact same survey every day. Which meant it was PR to the same 30k people every day, trying to convince them to tell us about what TV they watched, with little to no reward. I sent out some inane fucking emails, I can tell you that.
We briefly discussed the four stereotypes of black women in media and film and how Tyler Perry is the worst offender. Will you be talking more about the stereotypes? I think this would be beneficial for so many.
I think that was kind of hilarious. Like, in terms of celeb fuckups, a “do you know who I am?” to cops is kinda funny. It acknowledges that hey, there are separate justice systems for different classes of people! Not in a good way, but it lays that bare. I don’t think the cops deserved any *more* respect than that.
Here, my experience has been that I am a “safe” black person. The guy gets the optics of being inclusive or whatever, but without the stereotypes of black women or black people. He can take me out in public and I won’t be speaking eubonics or something. But then I get brushed off when the experiment is over and…
The whole original fact pattern to this story was super fucking bizarre.
Hey there Dr. Moreau.
Otters are wild animals. Don’t approach them and treat them like your household pet.
Hendricks was friendly, almost cooing
I bet it’s really frustrating to try to promote your work, only to have it derailed and ignored by someone throwing a tantrum because he only wanted to talk about his interests, even though you’ve already made your views on that topic clear in the past ... just not with him.
...... No dude. Just no.
