Watching that clip from "No Country", I was reminded of when I first saw it in the theater. The gas station owner is an old pal of mine who I hadn't seen for years. It was a unique sensation wondering if I was going to see a friend get killed. Bonus tension for the scene for sure.

I watched Fargo again recently. It turns out all the scenes you remember as really good are pretty much the whole movie. No fat on it. Incredible film.

Look for Charlie and Lola—it's my favorite of all I mentioned-great collage animation style, focus on real kids w/o being dull, actual kids voicing the characters, good writing and music…it's great. Glad she found Ben and Holly. Peppa Pig are the same producers and some of the same actors.

Also—Charlie and Lola, Pocoyo, Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, and Octonauts. (The UK has a lot less yelling than US shows—it's kind of a relief.
