@Magister: Obama makes a lot of ground with people when he actually works the state. He was behind in S. Carolina 3 months ago, but after spending time there, he won by a huge margin.
@marin79: The reason they put states like Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada first is so that they aren't overshadowed by the bigger states. They are politically active states, and serve to showcase smaller towns and cities. Florida and Michigan are big states, and would have gotten a lot of attention…

My mom was a housewife, but my dad still helped with dishes, laundry and vacuuming. She did the major stuff, but he did a lot considering the fact that he worked 50-60 hour weeks (a lot of that time on the road).
