I don’t “expect” supermodels to do anything. It would be nice if they behaved with a modicum of class and awareness of their unique position to act as positive, educational influences instead of negative. That’s what people like Imam did, instead of bitching about how elite fashion houses don’t know how to deal with

Black skin is different from white skin. It’s not even remotely the same, and all you have to do is look at a 60+ year old black woman versus a 60+ year old white woman. In the vast majority of cases, the black person always looks better/younger.

Newsflash, in the supermodel world, white people ARE the default.

Riight, I’m sure with that attitude they’ll go and do that just because you say so.

How is it possible? Well, how about counting the number of black supermodels, for starters. It’s not exactly a coincidence that Imam was one of the firs (if not first) black supermodels to have a line of makeup specifically designed for the skin of black people.

Fair enough, however I think you’re not considering the obvious here. Not all make-up people know how to do black people’s make-up, just like not all hairdressers know how to deal with black people’s hair. It’s a specialized skill for a reason.

The family absconded to Brooklyn, you say?

Maybe you should use your brain to remember that gay marriage was illegal in plenty of US states until the recent Supreme Court ruling.

He took the position with the NSA with the express intention of finding information about surveillance programs to leak, and he not only used his own clearance to get that information, he used other peoples’ credentials as well.

Care to provide a source those statements?

There are plenty of countries - and plenty of US states - where gay people are declared unfit parents, yet curiously nobody labels them “capricious dictators”.

Sure it’s a perfect description of Putin. Just like it was a perfect description of Saddam until recently the US foreign policy interest changed and now he suddenly wasn’t so bad.

You can trade location for space IF you have the financial luxury of affording that.

Money can get you pretty far (if by far you mean having a window and an oven that opens all the way) if you don’t have the asinine requirements of living in the coolest/most expensive neighborhood.

The real question here that has gone unanswered for far too long is: what the hell are Oreos made of? What is that black stuff, and what is it supposed to be?

Or you can start by buying quality shoes with leather insides.

Sorry, I don’t invest in serious commenting with people who speak in such comical exagerrations and seriously think that they’re being accurate in their depictions.

“Infamously capricious dictator” Haha. GTFO, you cartoonish shitbag.

That’s fair to a degree, however as a consumer, the crappy content design of a site is a huge piece of information for a potential customer. It’s pretty much the only way you can tell that a website (or rather the business behind it) is sketchy right off the bat without digging deeper into who they are.

The problem with your solution is that Snowden rightfully will never agree to a non-public trial. If you listen to his John Oliver interview and Citizen4, he expressly mentions that the problem with being charged under the Espionage Act is that it’s not a regular fair trial in any sense of the word.

No, a semi-colon is not used in place of a colon.
