Everybody's top list always seems to have two or more titles that are obviously from the genre the list maker prefers.

I can't see playing Shine On You Crazy Diamond without needing a toilet break. But it's possible.

@Prof.J: Yeah, it really was. If we're judging purely on the 'game' aspect of game of the year then Super Mario Galaxy wins. If you want to open up a category for interactive experience of the year then something else might have a chance. But SMG was pure gaming fun.
