Yeah, I don’t think the Unsullied and Dothraki care much about the proper rules of succession. They flat out say that Jon’s imprisonment and exile is a political move to prevent Dany’s army from rampaging across the countryside.

Actually I think Jon got exactly what he wanted. There is no way he wanted to be the King of the Seven Kingdoms. He looked pretty miserable being the King of just one of them.

To be fair, the “let’s become a democracy” idea was laughed out of the room. Instead, they became an elective monarchy, which was a reasonably common form of medieval/Renaissance government.

Well you tried Sam.

Maybe the DA leads will round up all the negative reactions to the idea of DA4 as a live service game, put them into a PowerPoint presentation, and use it as leverage to get EA to back off. :)

I’m happy to see one of these articles go up so far in advance of a launch. Hopefully key decision makers take a read, do an honest accounting of where they are/where they want to be, gauge fan feedback, and get the ship steadied well before launch.

And before that there was Majora’s Mask where you witnessed the end of the world over and over until you could actually make a difference. Before that, Amnesia boy waking up to a doomed Ganon-owned world.

I liked her plenty in DOFP, and I liked how they used her, storywise.  But in Apocalypse, setting her up as the “Both Charles and Erik are out of commission, so I have to step up as leader” did not work.

Would have been so much better if she just went fully bad and aligned with Magneto after the first one. She can still be the lead of your movie even if she’s a bad guy.

Lawrence’s role as Mystique has always been weird. They actually lucked out because they cast her seemingly minutes before she became a megastar, but because she was became a Supernova, they had to keep using her, even though her character was A) A Bad guy and B) Never interesting enough a bad guy to be the focus of

Might seem pedantic but with how they treat the player/Deputy in Far Cry 5 and New Dawn it just kinda made me lose any will to keep playing (initially, came back to play with my brother just for some fun times together). Was hoping New Dawn would at least put the player back in their shoes but you don’t really get any

Does this mean The Mandalorian takes place, at least partially, on Tatooine?

It comes across as bad fanfic, the kind where the writer reaches deep into the toy box and fishes out the obscure characters for fanservice instead of adding something new to the toy collection.

This is everything that is wrong with Star Wars. Too much inter-connection.

idk I really liked the 15 fps, I get how some might not though

Honestly, Grace was my favorite character in Far Cry 5. For some reason, I gravitated towards her backstory, even though I am very antiwar and antireligion. For some reason, the idea of her defending her church and her father’s grave from the Peggies resonated with me, and I pretty much kept her as my second the whole

They look rad as hell! I hope they’re the heroes or an ally of the player. I wanna be their friend, I don’t want to have to fight them.

Yup! Kill it dead. Leave us with one platform, every Nintendo team working on the same machine, everyone able to play every game the company releases anywhere at any time. It’d be amazing.

The New Republic does not play a role in the films because it is too mired in bureaucratic and partisan infighting to take the threat of the First Order seriously.

This movie fucking rules. It’s like one of those low-budget 80’s cult movies that used to get made— the ones that take wild chances and clearly don’t give a solitary fuck. The most (only) encouraging thing about it is that it is both eccentrically and insistently a ‘black’ movie, and yet it’s influences and targets
