Orca's are complete bastards in the wild… their torture and toying to death of seals is well documented and makes a house cat's treatment of a caught mouse seem quite tame.

I thought it was ok… certainly scary in some places and some good atmosphere… It's a nonsensical revenge for revenge story though.

I really enjoyed watching that when I was a kid… up until the point where they had to improvise a song, and then it all turned to shit… Reading the credits "in the style of" was great.

I'm not sure… since it was based on a book I think they just wanted to take everything from that and put it in the show before it ended.
