Ah, I hear ya. I'm bummed too, especially since Halloween is my absolute favorite. I feel as empty as if I forgot to put up a tree for Christmas! I did however carve a big pumpkin & will be baking the seeds tomorrow! Throw some salt and a little bit of cayenne pepper on them and mmm mmm.
Holy moly! That sounds

I'm addicted too! Then last night, I was lying in bed when I heard a huge bang on my bedroom door. I have no explanation (it was way louder than house noises), but I haven't looked at that thread since. I'll be back to reading by Thursday though, I'm having withdrawals.

This is what my ghost rabbit does too. The thump comes from where his cage used to be. He would also honk when he wanted attention and sometimes I will here that too. I miss him.

I was raised with that mentality & it has caused me to be a very emotional distant adult. I have trouble opening up to even my really good friends because "angry is ugly" and "no one wants to be burdened by your problems."

The free and not serious aspects is why I joined OKC in the first place. It was one of those "hey, why the hell not" moments. I was surprised to actually find and then meet up with a few nice, interesting and decent guys. And what would you know, one of them turned out to be my amazing boyfriend!

I'm an OKC success story! And I feel compelled to share my story mostly because it will be our anniversary in two weeks and I'm getting a bit mushy.

Congratulations from another online dating success story!

I had a good friend who didn't know how to do his own laundry when he went to college. So what did he do instead? He kept BUYING NEW PAIRS OF PANTS until he went home on a break to have his mom do if. facepalm

I love spooky things! But him not so much. It will take some convincing.

Thank for the great ideas! We've tried bowling a long time ago & it was a success, so maybe I'll bring that up again. Also, rumor has it that one of those trampoline parks is being built near my house.
Festivals, on the other hand, are so frustrating. I always see the coolest events coming up and know that they would

We're both in the suburbs of a major city.

Hi all! I'm looking for date ideas. My boyfriend and I work very different schedules; my "weekend" is in the middle of the week and his days off are completely random. We're extremely fortunate that we get to see each other as much as we do, especially since we have a 30-40 minute drive between, but there's only so

Ugh, I hear ya. I threw a Labor Day BBQ this year, and decided to make an event on facebook thinking that would be the easiest way to update my guests on the goings-on (it was a potluck so I was hoping people would post what they were bringing). Only 3 people RSVP'd. I get it, facebook events have become one of those

While I believe no one's ever too old for Halloween, these parents are acting out of line. Either they have a sweet tooth, or they're trying to get extra candy for their kids, which is unfair to those who don't have hoverparents.

Just brought home some Jack-o-Traveler Shandy for the Sox game tonight! Yay!

Ah! That's my drink of choice!

Unfortunately no. Maybe if he did I would've gotten the hell out of that relationship faster. It's the paranoid Russian Embassy and Irish Republican Army stuff that sounds very familiar. But to be honest, half the things written by people in this whole entire thread could have been said by my ex. At one point he told

I loved these books! I really want to read Bray's second fantasy series but I just don't have time for pleasure reading anymore :(

I think it might have to do with the character she plays in AHS. After that particular scene, I thought oh great, all the douchebros of the world are going be saying that she deserved to be raped because how she treated the fratbro who drugged her. The person I was watching it with even said "well maybe if she wasn't
