What’s under the hood/frunk?

I bought my two-seat sports car 6 months after my second child was born. And did not modify it to be family-friendly.  #baddad

It’s an injustice that the MX-3 remains better known less obscure than the contemporary Nissan NX-2000.

With the back seat in place, is the trunk useful for groceries and errands? Any cool infotainment (e.g. internet radio streaming)?

Nissans do this. At least, my wife’s Quest minivan does.

In the mid-1980's, my Dad’s Saab 9000 had a dot-matrix LCD that would tell you when a headlight or taillight was out and which one. Every modern car should be able to do this.

Can only speak for Model S because that’s what I drive, but the handles do occasionally retract while I’m grasping them. They’re mounted on a sort of spring mechanism, which allows you to basically hold the handle in an “out” position while it retracts, and then softly snaps back to the “in” position when you release.

In about 1999, one of the first practical uses I had for the internet was looking up instructions for how to disable the automatic-AC-with-defrost in my 1993 Plymouth Sundance. It required pulling off several pieces of dashboard trim to get to the HVAC controls, and removing a tiny piece of metal that bridged a

I have a ‘74 914, 2.0L. It’s a damn blast to drive. I can’t tell you how many other 914 owners I’ve met who have everything from 930's to Ferrari 308s, and every last one of ‘em says the 914 is more fun to drive.

ITT: A lot of hatin’ from people who’ve never driven a 914...

Man, my wife is gonna be PISSED when she comes home to find this in the driveway yard. At least I waited til after Valentine’s Day.
