Nokia 6500
i’m sure i’d me eating like this non stop if i was responsible for a year of the worst presidency ever. (with 4 sides of fries pls)
interesting; can you provide me a samsung link to Android Oreo for the Galaxy S4? lets take a look.
i’m pointing out that apple has supported their phones with not just security updates, but through multiple major upgrades of the OS. show me an Android Jellybean phone that can run Android Oreo.
as i pointed out before, ‘bells and whistles’ are beside the point with respect to security.
>And there are ROMs for the other ones, its not that hard flashing one)
>you can easily have support all the time with less money invested.
>The support of android phones may not be as of now be so long
>some phones getting major updates for more than 2 years.
>You keep saying all android phone manufacturers do the same. They dont
only if the manufacturer bothers to push them through.
>An older device doesn’t need to continue to receive new OS support as long as security patches are still pushed to those older devices.
it runs fine; i’m running iOS11 right now on a 5s, you FUD-smearing, Android fanboi.
>I use both devices, and honestly, security updates are important.
that’s fair (and a longer warranty than apple’s in most of the world), but otoh any security vulnerability that occurred after 2019-2020 would be entirely on the onus of the pixel2's end user to patch.
>The fact is, most of the functionality on Android is within apps
Add another two years and they’ll have similar security support as the iphone 5s does. As we move more of our lives to a portable digital device, and especially as we do more banking and transactions through our phones, this extended support will be more important to have in the future.
>Pixel 2 for 3 years.
The iPhone 5s has been supported for five years by Apple, through five major OS updates. it’s a 2013 phone that is still currently supported by its manufacturer.
it’s so obvious now. thanks.
