true. Hangouts is great. But I still am suffering fragmentation. My friends are basically on whatsapp, bbm, hangouts, viber, etc. so far the only thing that is close to universal is facebook messenger. :/

Yeah I agree with you there. I think the site design is due to the fact this is basically an outsourced franchise. So it really is a completely different company.. Future Publishing vs Gawker. Its like when you go to a fastfood or hotel overseas and realise it has completely different management.
