You’re not allowed to truck horses in a new vehicle, and certainly nothing larger than an F-350. Otherwise you’re a poseur and ruining the world.

You’ve got lots of dumb ideas. Roads and bridges could easily be fixed if the gas tax wasn’t pillaged away for everything but infrastructure. You know nothing of politics.

Well, its pretty obvious who you’re going to vote for. Thanks for your holier than thou attitude. Thanks for teaching us why its so wrong to drive something you don’t need. Meanwhile, I’m going to head to lunch soon from my office job, in my brand new 2017 F-350 dually (which replaced my 2016 diesel Ford) and enjoy

Those truck purchases are “heavily taxed” especially compared to other “little” vehicles like your WRX. For example, you complain they are “driving up gas prices” presumably becuase of higher fuel consumption. Well, there is a tax on fuel...and its higher on diesel. That means the more you use, the more you are taxed.

Pal, that’s a silly argument. If a truck bed is blocking a sidewalk, it’s not the truck’s fault. It just means someone parked where they shouldn’t. Even you could probably do that with your little WRX. A full size truck fits in a standard parking space. Maybe not a dually, but pretty much everything else. So again, if

That’s a nice truck. Why do you care?

How does someone driving a large pickup truck make your life worse?

I own a 2017 F-350 dually diesel. It performed a regeneration a few hours of ownership. I think it was just a ‘breaking in’ regen. There was no message on the dash, but if you’ve owned a modern DPF-equipped diesel, you’ll recognize the smell.
